The purpose will be to thank newly elected precinct delegates and to invite them to join state committees for the Michigan State Democratic Convention, when committees will be meeting Tuesday thru Wed. 8-24 and 8-25 in Lansing Headquarters to discuss the bus. of their respective committees and the State fall Convention convenes on Sat. August 28th. Only precinct delegates elected after Aug 3rd primary are eligible to vote and they must have their state dues paid by or before August 14th 2010. Nominees for county and legislative offices are also eligible to vote and they must have their dues paid up by 8-14-10 also.
Every year, the Muskegon-Ottawa chapter of NOW and HUUC (Harbor Unitarian Universalist Congregation) join forces to celebrate Women's Equality Day. This is M-O NOW's biggest fundraiser of the year, so please come out and support us!
